Bai Hao Oolong also known as Oriental Beauty Tea or Dong Fang Mei Ren, is one of Taiwan’s most famous oolong teas. It is a highly oxidized (60–70%) oolong, closer in character to black tea, known for its honey-like sweetness, fruity aroma, and smooth mouthfeel. The name “Bai Hao” (meaning white tip) comes from the fine silvery-white hairs that cover the tender tea buds used in its production.
